Bryndísa Jara is a passionate, multifaceted living cartoon character and artist known for her vibrant designs. She excels into the world of costume pieces, collage and concept art. In recent years, she has specialized in creating accessories built on expressing niche hidden worlds, props, and detailed costume pieces with meticulous precision. In a world of over consumption, and with a dedication to sustainability, she believes in repurposing materials and showcasing innovation with available resources. For Bryn, creativity is more than a mere hobby—it's an integral part of her identity, it is a burning ember in her core essential to her daily life and sanity; to quote

“..when I haven't made something in a while, I get a little weird”.

And she sure does.

Her artistic journey has a deep-rooted history in paper-craft, with a love for collage, origami, paper cutting, and bookbinding. In the digital realm, Bryndísa demonstrates her talent as an illustrator bringing imaginative cartoon characters to life and with an astute interest and love for etymology, she spends days thinking in poetry attempting to integrate words and phrases into her hand drawn and digital creations, infusing what are sometimes silly, sometimes sad and sometimes downright nonsensical thoughts into her artistic expressions. She delights in creating comedic illustrations that combine wit and an extra layer of whimsy to her works.

Her collaborative spirit has led her to contribute to diverse projects including mural work, sculpture work, sticker design, album covers, product design, photography, modelling, fine art-related costume design and more.

Beyond visual arts, Bryn is creatively immersed in circus based performance arts both aiding others in creative pursuits and sharing her talents as a hula hooper, and clown for children and adults. Her overarching goal in life is to spread joy, share knowledge and make the world a more colourful place by empowering others to embrace their truest selves without hesitation.
